Data Protection

The Children and Young People’s Services (CYPS), within the Local Authority, has developed a service wide Privacy Notice which includes how personal information is processed by CYPS.  This includes data from education settings.

The CYPS Privacy Notice contains details of what information is collected, how it will be used and with whom it will be shared.  The aim is to make the Privacy Notice issued to children, young people and parent/carers general and constant.  A copy of the Privacy Notice is available on the Local Authority website:  https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/data-protection-and-foi/information-and-data-sharing/sharing-information-on-children-and-young-people/
