Kids Lit Competition

A team from BVC took part in the regional heat of the Kids Lit Competition, a world-wide competition to encourage reading amongst young people.

The Bassingbourn bookworms – Archie Lievesley, Jon Cheeseright, Emma Shalan and Isabel Inskip – competed against teams from all over the Eastern Region and ended up in the top ten. All four of the Year 8 students enjoyed the experience which tested their knowledge on books as diverse as Harry Potter, Dickens and popular magazines.
